Professional Biography

I am a passionate Multimedia and Instructional Design professional who thrives on bridging the gap between creative design and functional, accessible technology. My journey has been defined by a deep curiosity for how we learn and a commitment to making digital experiences inclusive for everyone.

I started my career in the world of print media, but as technology evolved, so did I. I’ve had the privilege of growing my expertise through a blend of hands-on experience and academic study—earning an A.S. in Web Design & Interactive Media from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh (2012), a B.S. in Professional Studies from Purdue University Global (2022), and currently working toward my M.S. in Instructional Design.

Since 2014, my focus has shifted toward instructional architecture, where I love the challenge of turning complex information into engaging, learner-centered experiences. Whether I’m designing accessible multimedia assets that meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards as a Senior Multimedia Designer at Purdue University Global, or helping healthcare teams pivot to online training during critical times, my goal remains the same: to create impactful solutions that truly help the end user.

When I’m not working on LMS migrations or coding responsive layouts with HTML5, CSS3, and WordPress, I enjoy staying on the cutting edge of design and instructional technology. I truly believe that by combining solid design principles with a heart for accessibility, we can create learning landscapes that are not just effective, but also welcoming and intuitive for every learner.

A Snapshot of My Path

  • Academic Roots: I hold an A.S. in Web Design & Interactive Media (2012) and a B.S. in Professional Studies (2022), and I am currently building on that foundation with an M.S. in Instructional Design from Purdue University Global.

  • Design Philosophy: I believe in managing the full project lifecycle with care—from the initial analysis phase all the way to a seamless deployment.

  • The Tech Stack: I love working with tools like Articulate Storyline 360, Rise, Vyond, and the Adobe Creative Suite to bring ideas to life, while using HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery to keep the web functional and responsive.

  • Collaboration: I find that the best work happens when I partner closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex ideas into clear, beautiful, and accessible modules.

  • Growth: I’m proud to have transitioned from graphic design into instructional architecture, a journey that led to my recent promotion to Senior Multimedia Designer in March 2026
